Transport
There are no public transport or taxi services in the Hokianga
area.
For the duration of the festival Courtesy vans will be providing a free transport service to festival badgeholders. The vans travel between all venues at regular intervals throughout the duration of the festival.
Kohukohu Venue - courtesy transport will frequent between the Ferry Landing and the Hokianga Harbourside Hotel, Kohukohu. Festival goers coming off the ferry at the Kohukohu landing will only have a short wait, if any for the van to arrive.
Ferry - The Hokianga Vehicular Ferry, Kohu Ra Tuarua ferries between Rawene and Kohukohu stopping at the landing 5kms from Kohukohu township and the festival venue.
Travelling on the ferry is at your cost. Per Passenger $4.00 return,
Per Vehicle $19.00 return. See the Ferry Fares for concessions and the Ferry Timetable for travel times.
Note : The last ferry for the day leaves Kohukohu at 8pm.
After 8pm a FREE Special Ferry Service will operate. Refer to the SPECIAL FERRY TIMETABLE.
